Wasted resources
Why would anyone go to the trouble of employing human and artistic resources toward such an unworthy end? That is: reinforced age/class/gender clichés; "us vs. them" competitiveness, aggression, violence; subordinating ideas of and intellectual curiosity about time and history to such pathetic and obvious narcissistic futility of contemporary "teen" (but they are not alone, alas) cultures. Open a book! Talk with people who know something else! Open your minds! Don't waste time and resources!
