Subject: Umm...
I've listened to a LOT of music. I was browsing the archive and couldn't believe that I had never heard of this guy before, but he had 500K + downloads, so I thought... hmm, I'll check this out. I could only listen to about 20 seconds before my stomach started boiling with the sensation that I was going to puke. After getting over the nauseated feeling I paused the music and gathered my senses and chose another song. To my dismay, the wanting to puke sensation returned. I don't know if this guy has some program that just keeps downloading his show or what, but the singing is way out of tune and the music is simplistic. I'm cool with anybody trying and having fun with music, but to abuse the live music archive like this is outrageous. Save the bandwidth for something more worthy, please.

The recording sounds distant but thats probably good because a soundboard of this guys voice would only amplify how horrible he is. Do you people actually listen to the music b4 you download it? Or do you just follow the masses? I challenge anyone to blast this shit at your next party and tell me what the reaction is. Someone should have told this guy to give it up, sorry Patterson but you cant sing. Subject: Following an Idiot (review)
I know I'm 9 months late on this string, but it ticked me off enough to comment. Reviewer obviously has either never listened to a Truckers' disc, or has some other reason for having his panties in a twist. I agree the quality of this recording isn't great, it does sound distant. But as for Patterson's voice in general - that's rock & roll MF. If you don't like it, swing to some Buble, and shove your review where you know it belongs.

with the streaming option is it really necessary to say anything regarding your opinion of the band?! people can listen and if they don't like it then don't download it. simple as that. do you think a review will stop them from streaming and deciding for themselves?

there are TONS of bands on here I can't stand. I don't go on their shows and leave negative reviews! understand the difference? the comments should be about the quality of both the recording and the performance. this has been downloaded over 500,000 times so seems people like it ;)

Novak and datdork, I feel that your comments are total BS. If you click on any show here at least 75% of the reviews are regarding the crowd, peoples opinions of the band, the venue, etc. I don't know why you have to try and hate on this guy for expressing his honest opinion of the band? That sort of review is actually helpful. What else do you expect, a hundred people commenting about the recording quality? Great. Go record a guy buttering some toast. Subject: Patterson rocks!
I agree with Hillbilly13's assessment...great to hear different versions of these tunes. Solo Patterson shows are very reminiscent of the Dirt Underneath Tour last year, only even MORE stripped down. Excellent sound quality. I recommend this show to any DBT fan.
