Good choice of tunes. Sound like an interesting idea.

Both songs are US publications published and registered before 1923: "April Showers" (1921), "Rock-a-Bye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody" (1918). Their full copyright term has expired so they are public domain in the USA.

The songs are also PD in Australia and UK because there is "rule of the shorter term" in Australia (Part 5 Copyright (International Protection) Regulations) and UK (Article 7 of the EU copyright directive).
