A sad day indeed,he was a talent that comes along far too infrequently.I did get to smoke a joint with him at a Last Poets show in NYC in the late 70's and must say he had a powerful presence and a booming laugh.The hip-hop community would be well advised to take a page from his book.

Sad indeed. I`m only familiar with the collection type material but have loved that stuff since I got turned on to him in the mid 80`s. I know what a huge fan you are BD so I know this must hit you deep.
