Hi just brought an ipad and it wont play any of my embedded videos. These are set up to play animated artworks. I wanted to use the ipad to take to galleries etc to promote my work.
Is there any solution to this problem? ... when I open the web pages with the embedded movie on the area where the movie is is just blank.
Do I need to download something for the ipad? or can I fix it the archive end???

Any help greatly appreciated. otherwise I need to resave them all to youtube maybe which I dont want to do (I hate their logo on everything)

i'm assuming you are talking about off-site archive.org embedded videos?
that works just fine as long as you use the embed codes (they are short and start with "iframe"). the older embed codes are flash-based (which is one of the reasons we went with a new player and new embed codes recently).

Your problem is that the iPad doesn't support flash, which the Internet Archive relies on to play those embedded videos.
